What Causes Low Fuel Pressure in a Motorcycle?
When a motorcycle has low fuel pressure, what could be the cause? A bad fuel filter? Or perhaps the fuel pump itself is the problem.

Low Fuel Pressure Causes
What’s your best guess for what causes low fuel pressure in a motorcycle? Fuel pump, fuel filter or something else?
John Talley: Most of the time it’s going to be fuel-pump related. The fuel filter? Yeah, sometimes, but nine times out of 10 it’s going to be the fuel pump itself that’s starting to lose a little bit of zip. But hey, fuel filters are a lot cheaper than a fuel pump, and if your fuel pump has that much time and mileage on it, go ahead and do the filter first and then go after the pump, unless it’s an integrated unit.
