Kawasaki KLX 110 New Plug But No Spark Q&A

I have a new spark plug on my Kawasaki KLX110 but still no spark. What could be wrong?

John Talley: A lot of different things. A new spark plug doesn’t necessarily mean it’s going to send a spark. It could be the coil or the spark plug cap. Or it could be the trigger on the wiring that’s going inside of the stator or the rotor. There are several different things that could be going on there. It could be that the kill switch is shorted out. So there are several things you need to look at as far as trying to isolate the problem. But you’re going to have to dig a little deeper. Start with the key switch and then work your way out. That’s the best I can tell you. We’ve got several help videos for ATVs and motorcycles that won’t start. As a matter of fact, we had a KLX 110 and I’m sure we did a video on that, a no-start condition.
