Can a Dead AGM Motorcycle Battery Be Revived?

When you have a dead AGM battery on a Honda motorcycle, is it worth attempting to revive it, or should you just go ahead and replace the battery with a new one?

I have a dead AGM battery for a Honda CBR 600RR. Can I revive it , or should I just go ahead and replace it with a new battery?

John Talley: How long has it been dead? And what voltage if any does it have? I’ve done the trick before using a larger battery to jump it, so to speak, for about a minute or two. And that’ll break loose any type of sulfation that’s started on top of the plates. Sometimes that’s enough to kick it back over. But I mean, if it’s been dead for several weeks, it may not be able to pop it back to life. If you throw any of these small 3 amp battery chargers or tenders on it, they’re not going to stand a chance because it wants a shock to the system to break things loose. But once one goes dead on me, I usually give it one shot to come back but after that, if it doesn’t test out right, it’s not worth it. Just go ahead and replace it.
