How to Change Suzuki King Quad 750 Oil

Whether you push a Suzuki King Quad 750 to the limit or not (and why wouldn’t you?), it needs regular oil changes like any other ATV.

Tools and Parts – Suzuki King Quad 750 Oil Change

• Ratchet
• 17mm socket
• Torque wrench

• 68mm oil filter wrench
• Oil filter
• Suzuki Ecstar 10W-40 oil (3 quarts)

Changing Suzuki KingQuad 750 Oil

Step 1. Let the motor idle for a minute to warm the oil so it’ll drain better.

Step 2. Remove the left-side splash guard to access the dipstick, and remove the dipstick so the crankcase can breathe as the oil drains.

Step 3. Place a drain pan under the engine, then remove the 17mm drain bolt and crush washer from the bottom of the engine and let the oil completely drain.

Step 4. Inspect the crush washer and replace it if it's worn. Reinstall the washer and drain bolt, and torque it to 15 foot-pounds.

Step 5. Remove the oil filter from the lower left side of the engine using a 68mm oil filter wrench. 

Step 6. Apply a film of oil to the new oil filter’s O-ring, then install the new oil filter and torque it to 12 foot-pounds.

Step 7. Refill the engine with 2.6 quarts of Suzuki Ecstar 10W-40 oil or any other 10W-40 oil that has additives for a wet clutch system.

Step 8. Reinstall the dipstick, and idle the engine for about 20 seconds to circulate the new oil within the motor. Shut off the engine and let the oil settle for a minute.

Step 9. Remove the dipstick, wipe it clean, then set it back into the crankcase but don’t thread it back in. Remove the dipstick again and check the oil level. Top off the oil level if necessary, reinstall the dipstick and you’re done.
