Any advice on storing a 2014 Yamaha YFZ450? I don't get a chance to use it and start it every few months and let it idle.
John Talley: Yeah, pretty simple there. If you’re going to set it up for storage, go ahead and change the oil. You don’t want to leave contaminants, because oil gets contaminated just by being used. Go ahead and run it through, change the oil, disconnect the battery, and put a trickle charger on it so it’s good to go. Really that’s about it. Oh, and put some stabilizer in the fuel tank. And I would go ahead and fill it up all the way to the top. Because even plastic tanks when they start to get cold can build up a level of condensation that will lead to water down in the tank. But just set it up with, I think it’s Yamaha that has a really nice Yamalube product for that.
