Polaris RZR 900XP Installing Clutch
Step 1. Install the primary/drive clutch assembly by sliding it over its drive shaft, and then torqueing the mounting bolt to 96 foot-pounds.
PRO TIP: Prop a ratchet extension (or something similar) between the drive clutch assembly housing and the chassis to prevent the clutch from rotating as you torque it.
Step 2. Install the secondary/driven clutch assembly. Slide the assembly over its drive shaft and torque the mounting bolt to 40 foot-pounds
PRO TIP: As recommended in Step 1 for the drive clutch, prop a ratchet extension (or something similar) between the driven clutch's faceplate and the chassis to prevent the clutch from rotating as you torque it.
Step 3. Install a new drive belt. When your RZR 900 is running, the belt will rotate counterclockwise, so make sure the arrows on the drive belt are pointing counterclockwise when you install it.
